Description
A 9-inch hardwired wall sconce with a natural stone shade and matte black finish, for bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
The Franklin contrasts a crisp matte black steel frame with a 5-inch natural stone shade. Because stone varies in color and texture, each sconce is subtly one of a kind, and the shade diffuses light into a warm, inviting glow. It is a decorative accent light with everyday function.
Best for
- Bathrooms and powder rooms, mounted beside a mirror or vanity
- Bedrooms as a bedside sconce that keeps nightstands clear
- Hallways and entryways where a warm accent is welcome
- Feature walls where the natural stone texture can be appreciated
Not ideal for
- Rooms needing a primary light source - one 100W bulb behind stone gives soft ambient light only
- Wet or exposed outdoor locations; this sconce is rated for damp locations only
- Buyers wanting perfectly uniform shades - natural stone varies piece to piece
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one 100W max E26 bulb, but the stone shade diffuses the output into a soft glow rather than bright task light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose - no bulb is included. A warm 2700K-3000K bulb complements the stone's natural tone; a cooler bulb reads more modern. Dimmability depends on the bulb and wall dimmer you pair it with.
Sizing and fit
Overall 4.5 in wide x 6 in deep x 9 in high, projecting 6 in from the wall. The 4.5 x 5.5 in backplate fits standard junction boxes. Works on walls with 8 ft or higher ceilings; at 9 in tall it sits well beside a mirror or bed.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No - it takes one E26 medium-base bulb up to 100W, sold separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer you install; the fixture does not include a dimmer. Use a dimmable bulb with a compatible wall dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so bathrooms and covered areas are fine. It is not rated for wet or exposed outdoor use.
What's the warranty? 1 year.
Will the stone shade look exactly like the photo? No - natural stone varies in color and veining, so each shade is slightly unique.
