Sonneman Vertex 70in 5-Light Semi-Flush Mount | Modern Brass and Brass Metal | Kitchen & Dining Room | 70 x 10 in | Model 7665-39-MB

A 70-inch semi-flush mount with five adjustable brass shades, built for large kitchens and open dining spaces that need wide, directional light.

The Vertex collection takes its cue from architectural arms - slender, sprawling, and precisely adjustable. Each cylindrical brass shade sits on a knurled band you can aim by hand, so you can push light toward a countertop, a table, or a piece of art. The Modern Brass finish over steel gives it an industrial-heritage look that suits both new builds and older homes.

Best for

• Large kitchens with 8-9 ft ceilings - close-to-ceiling mounting keeps sightlines open over an island or prep zone
• Open dining rooms and great rooms where a wide, low-profile statement piece works better than a chandelier
• Hallways and foyers that need broad, even light
• Home offices or studios where adjustable directional light is useful

Not ideal for

• Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not compatible with them
• Small rooms - at 70 inches wide, it needs a generous ceiling footprint
• Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - the damp rating covers humid rooms, but not direct spray

How bright is it?

5475 lumens total across five integrated LED modules - roughly comparable to a bright 350W incandescent setup. That is enough to serve as primary lighting in a large kitchen or open dining area, not just as an accent.

Light color and feel

2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. With a CRI of 90, colors render accurately, which matters in kitchens and over dining tables. Dimmable with ELV, TRIAC, or 0-10V dimmers.

Sizing and fit

70 inches wide by 10 inches tall, with a 6.5-inch round canopy. The wide, low profile suits large rooms and open floor plans. Because it mounts close to the ceiling, it works well in rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings where a pendant would hang too low.
