Description
A 9-light cascading chandelier for stairwells and grand dining rooms, finished in modern brass with etched matte acrylic shades.
Strands of illuminated capsules create a futuristic canopy of light in the Cygnus chandelier. Each etched acrylic form is accented with a brass-finished metal band at its center. Suspended at varying heights, the tapered shades form a cascading composition that evokes falling rain. With 9 lights, Cygnus brings dramatic scale to double-height spaces, stairwells, and grand interiors.
Best for
- Stairwells and foyers with high ceilings, creating a dramatic vertical focal point
- Dining rooms with 10+ ft ceilings, centered over a large table
- Grand living rooms and double-height spaces
- Hospitality lobbies and upscale commercial interiors
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not compatible with sloped ceiling mounting
- Rooms with standard 8-ft ceilings, as the 69.5-inch height requires significant vertical space
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
How bright is it?
3725 lumens - roughly equivalent to three 100W incandescent bulbs. This provides ambient light for large spaces, but may need supplemental lighting for tasks.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. With a CRI of 90, colors render accurately. Dimmable with ELV or TRIAC dimmers.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 in W x 69.5 in H, with a maximum hang length of 144 in via coax cord. The round canopy measures 11 in W x 2.25 in D. Best suited to rooms with ceilings at least 12 ft high.
