Savoy House Drexel 18.5in 1-Light Outdoor Wall Lantern | Traditional English Bronze and Clear Glass | Front Door & Patio | Model L5-2936-13

A large 1-light outdoor wall lantern in English bronze with clear glass, sized for front doors, porches, and patio walls.

The Drexel outdoor wall lantern takes the classic lantern silhouette and smooths it into clean, modern lines. The English bronze finish is a deep, warm brown with subtle highlights that reads traditional without feeling heavy, and the clear glass shade lets the bulb shape show through. At 18.5 inches tall it makes a confident statement beside a front door or on a garage wall.

Best for

• Front entries and porches where a taller lantern balances a standard 36 in door
• Garage walls and side entries that need a matching pair flanking the opening
• Covered patios and outdoor living walls where wet-rated construction is required
• Traditional, coastal, and transitional exteriors in brick, stone, or painted siding

Not ideal for

• Indoor use - this lantern is wet-rated for exterior installation only
• Very small porches or narrow sidelight walls where an 18.5 in tall body would crowd the door
• Anyone wanting a bright flood of light - one 60W bulb gives accent-level illumination, not area lighting

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one standard E26 bulb up to 60W, expect roughly 800 lumens with a 60W LED equivalent - enough to light a doorway and cast a welcoming glow, but not to illuminate a whole driveway.

Light color and feel

Light color depends on the bulb you choose; the fixture itself does not set a Kelvin temperature. Pair it with a 2700K-3000K warm white bulb for a classic, welcoming entry, or a 4000K bulb if you prefer a crisper, more modern look. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.

Sizing and fit

Measures 7.5 in wide, 9 in deep (extends 9 in from the wall), and 18.5 in tall. The backplate is 5.88 in wide by 5.88 in high. Best proportioned for entries with 8-10 ft ceilings and doors 36 in wide or larger.

Frequently asked

Is the bulb included? No, the bulb is not included. It takes one standard E26 bulb up to 60W.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and a dimmable bulb. Dimmer brand is not specified by the manufacturer.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is wet-rated, so it is suitable for outdoor locations including exposed walls and areas that receive rain.

What's the warranty? Warranty information is not specified by the manufacturer.

Will this work on a sloped ceiling or wall? This is a wall-mounted lantern, not a ceiling fixture, so ceiling slope is not a factor. It mounts to a standard wall junction box.
