Description
A 17.25-inch tall wall sconce with a white opal glass shade and satin nickel finish, ideal for bathroom vanities and hallways.
The Conover pairs a rounded cone of white opal glass with a hexagonal backplate for a clean, geometric look. The satin nickel finish adds a sleek, contemporary touch, while the opal glass softens the light for a comfortable glow.
Best for
- Bathroom vanities flanking a mirror, where the damp-rated design and soft light work well
- Hallways and stairwells needing a slim, upward-facing accent light
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed
- Entryways or powder rooms where a small footprint matters
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or wet locations - this sconce is damp-rated only
- Very tall ceilings where a larger-scale fixture is needed
- Rooms needing bright task lighting - it uses a single 60W bulb max
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose; with a 60W-equivalent LED you get roughly 800 lumens, similar to a standard 60W incandescent. It's best for accent or vanity lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb. The white opal glass diffuses the light for a soft, even glow that flatters skin tones and reduces glare. Dimmable with a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Measures 5.5 in wide, 6.5 in deep (extends from wall), and 17.25 in tall. The backplate is 5.5 in wide x 4.75 in tall. Works well in bathrooms, hallways, and bedrooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
