Description
A 10-inch geometric metal pendant for kitchen islands and bar areas, finished in matte black steel.
The Wren pendant makes an artistic statement with its cut-out metal shade formed from intersecting triangles. An exposed bulb socket peeks through the open design, creating a playful illumination effect that suits industrial and modern interiors. The matte black frame keeps the look clean and versatile.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars where a single statement pendant or a row of two to three works best
- Industrial loft and modern farmhouse dining rooms with exposed ceilings
- Bar areas and casual entertaining spaces that benefit from an exposed-bulb glow
- Entryways or stairwells where a compact geometric accent is wanted
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms needing bright, even task lighting - the open shade directs light downward and outward rather than flooding the room
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you plan to use the full 8 ft cord length
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 100W-equivalent LED (about 1600 lumens), it provides strong accent light over a counter or table - enough to anchor a small island but not to light an entire room on its own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by the bulb, not the fixture. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, inviting glow that flatters wood and black metal interiors. The fixture is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmable bulb and wall dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Measures 10.25 in L x 10.25 in W x 15 in H with a 5 in W x 0.75 in L canopy and 8 ft cord. Works well over standard 36 in kitchen islands and in rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings. Hang 30-36 in above a countertop for comfortable clearance.
