Description
A 21-inch outdoor hanging lantern in antique brass with clear seedy glass, built for covered porches and entryways that need warm, character-rich light.
The Westover pairs clean lines with hand-riveted accents for a modern industrial look that still feels timeless. The elongated rectangular frame leaves the interior open and unobstructed, while clear seedy glass panels add texture and depth. Antique brass is a living finish, so it will naturally mature and patina over time.
Best for
- Covered porches and porticos where a single statement lantern greets guests
- Covered patios and outdoor gathering spaces that need warm ambient light
- Entryways and foyers with high ceilings that can carry a 20.75-inch drop
- Modern industrial and transitional exteriors in brass, wood, or brick
Not ideal for
- Exposed, uncovered locations with direct rain or sprinkler exposure
- Low porches under about 8 ft where the 20.75-inch body plus chain feels crowded
- Anyone who wants a fixed, non-aging finish - brass patinas over time by design
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It takes one medium-base bulb up to 150W, so a standard 60W-equivalent LED gives comfortable entryway light while a higher-output bulb can light a larger porch. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulb choice - warm white (2700K-3000K) suits the antique brass and seedy glass best for a golden, welcoming glow. Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer used; the fixture itself is not listed as dimmable.
Sizing and fit
Overall 7 in L x 7 in W x 20.75 in H with an 8-inch chain and 12 ft cord, so it hangs well from tall porch ceilings. The 5-inch canopy covers a standard junction box. At 8.5 lbs it is a straightforward single-point install.
