Description
A 14-inch flush mount ceiling light for hallways and home offices, blending industrial style with polished nickel accents.
Tobias takes a classic flush mount silhouette and gives it industrial character. The matte black metal shade is accented with polished nickel details for a crisp contrast, while a clear etched glass shade softens the light into a gentle glow. It is a strong choice for transitional and industrial interiors.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors that need even overhead light
- Home offices and dens with standard ceiling heights
- Entryways and mudrooms
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large open rooms where a single 14-inch flush mount would leave dark corners
- Spaces with very high ceilings where a pendant would be more proportionate
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With two 75W medium-base bulbs, expect roughly 2200-2400 lumens total from standard incandescent or equivalent LED - solid ambient light for a hallway or office, though not a substitute for dedicated task lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. The etched glass diffuses the beam for a soft, even glow. A warm 2700K-3000K bulb will feel inviting in a hallway, while a cooler 4000K bulb suits a workspace. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer switch you pair it with.
Sizing and fit
Measures 14 in L x 14 in W x 8.75 in H with a 7 in W x 7 in L canopy. The 8.75-inch height keeps it close to the ceiling, ideal for 8-9 ft ceilings. At 14 inches wide, it works well in hallways, offices, and bedrooms up to roughly 10 x 12 ft.
