Description
A farmhouse pendant light for kitchen islands, bars, and dining rooms.
The Tamara pendant pairs a matte black metal shade with a slightly distressed walnut band for a warm, modern farmhouse look. The black finish carries from the shade up to the canopy for a clean, cohesive profile. Hang it over an island or dining table to anchor the space with soft, downward light.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung singly or in a row of two or three
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens where a 20-inch pendant suits the table size
- Farmhouse and rustic interiors that feature black metal and wood tones
- Open-concept spaces that need a focal point over a gathering area
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings - the pendant hangs down and needs clearance above a table or island
- Damp or wet locations - this fixture is rated for dry indoor use only
- Small nooks where a 20-inch-wide shade would feel oversized
How bright is it?
Uses four 60W medium-base bulbs (not included). With four 60W-equivalent LEDs you get roughly 3,200 lumens total - plenty for task lighting over an island or ambient light over a dining table.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. Warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs create a cozy dining glow; brighter white (3500K-4000K) works well over a kitchen island. The metal shade directs light downward with minimal glare.
