Description
A farmhouse flush mount ceiling light for kitchens, hallways, and entryways.
The Tamara flush mount blends a matte black metal shade with a slightly distressed walnut band for a warm, modern farmhouse look. The black finish runs from the shade to the canopy for a clean, cohesive profile that sits close to the ceiling. It is an easy choice for lower ceilings or anywhere you want generous light without a hanging fixture.
Best for
- Kitchens and breakfast nooks where a flush mount keeps sightlines open
- Hallways and entryways that need bright, even overhead light
- Bedrooms and living rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Farmhouse and rustic interiors that feature black metal and wood tones
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you want a statement pendant or chandelier as the focal point
- Very large open spaces - a single 16-inch flush mount may not light the whole area
- Damp or wet locations - this fixture is rated for dry indoor use only
How bright is it?
Uses three 100W medium-base bulbs (not included). With three 100W-equivalent LEDs you get roughly 4,800 lumens total - bright enough to serve as the main light in a kitchen or hallway.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. Warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs give a cozy, inviting feel for living spaces; cooler white (4000K) works well in kitchens and utility areas. The metal shade directs light downward and outward.
Sizing and fit
Measures 16 in wide x 16 in deep x 8.25 in high and weighs 3.83 lbs. The 8.25-inch height keeps it close to the ceiling, making it a good fit for rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings. Canopy measures 7 in W x 1.25 in L.
