Description
A 4-light semi-flush mount for bedrooms and hallways, finished in royal ebony with handmade clear textured glass.
The Stratum delivers drama and depth in volumes. Thick panels of handmade glass subtly conceal the bulbs while allowing light to pass through, and a robust metal ribbon finished in royal ebony completes the artisanal look. It sits close to the ceiling, making it a strong choice for rooms where a chandelier would hang too low.
Best for
- Bedrooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, centered over the bed
- Hallways and foyers that need a sculptural close-to-ceiling light
- Dining nooks and sitting rooms with transitional or artisanal decor
- Rooms where a pendant or chandelier would hang too low
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Very large rooms where a single 4-light semi-flush won't provide enough illumination
- Spaces styled around bright brass or polished nickel accents
How bright is it?
Uses four 15W candelabra-base bulbs (not included). Lumen output not specified by manufacturer - brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Best as ambient and accent lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the candelabra bulbs you install. The clear textured glass lets light pass through with a subtle sparkle, while the thick panels soften the glare. Dimmability depends on bulb and dimmer compatibility.
Sizing and fit
Measures 16 in wide x 16 in deep x 14 in high with a 0.75 in canopy. At 16 in wide, it suits bedrooms, hallways, and foyers roughly 10x10 ft to 12x12 ft. Weighs 10.84 lbs.
