Description
A 12-light sputnik chandelier with clear glass spheres and a polished chrome finish, made for dining rooms and foyers that need a retro-modern centerpiece.
The Spellbound chandelier from Quoizel's Platinum collection reimagines mid-century sputnik design with shimmering ice glass spheres encased in clear glass. Polished chrome arms and sockets add a contemporary edge, while the 29-inch span creates a dramatic focal point without overwhelming the room.
Best for
- Dining rooms 12x14 ft or larger, hung 30-36 in above the table
- Two-story foyers and entryways where the 29-in width can be appreciated
- Living rooms with vaulted ceilings and open floor plans
- Retro-modern or Hollywood Regency interiors with chrome accents
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft - the 11-in height plus hanging hardware needs clearance
- Small powder rooms or hallways where a 29-in span would feel oversized
- Spaces that need a single bright downlight - this fixture uses 12 small G9 bulbs for sparkle, not task lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With twelve 40W G9 bulbs, total brightness is roughly equivalent to a 480W incandescent source, but the clear glass shades scatter light for a glittering effect rather than a focused beam. Best as ambient or decorative lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the G9 bulbs you choose. The clear glass and chrome finish reflect warm or cool tones evenly. Dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable G9 bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
