Description
A modern outdoor wall sconce for front doors and porches, finished in matte black with clear seedy glass and Dark Sky certification.
The Sawyer sconce pairs a sleek matte black steel frame with clear seedy glass for a visually intriguing effect and soft, ambient illumination. It is Dark Sky certified, directing light downward to reduce light pollution, and its compact 10 in height suits smaller walls and trim.
Best for
- Front doors and entryways, flanking the door or mounted beside steps
- Porches and patios where downward, Dark Sky-friendly light is preferred
- Garages and side doors where a compact sconce adds curb appeal
- Pairing two sconces for a symmetrical entryway
Not ideal for
- Open, fully exposed locations with direct rain and no overhang
- Large facades where a 10 in tall sconce would look undersized
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you install. The fixture is rated for one 5W GU10 bulb. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because the bulb is not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is determined by your chosen GU10 bulb. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb suits the modern look and flatters wood and brick exteriors. The clear seedy glass softens the light slightly for a warm, ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 4.75 in wide x 6.25 in deep x 10 in high, with a 6 in cord. The compact 10 in height suits smaller entryway walls and tight trim; check clearance above the door before mounting.
