Description
A 22.5-inch tall outdoor wall lantern in aged copper with clear glass, sized for front porches and entryways.
The Rue De Royal captures the historic romance of gas lighting without a propane feed. Fully electric and thoughtfully designed, it blends old-world charm with modern convenience. A hand-riveted metal frame in aged copper gives it the warmth of a French countryside estate, while clear tempered glass panels let the bulbs glow through cleanly.
Best for
- Front porches and entryways where a warm welcome light matters
- Garage side doors and back patios that need a traditional accent
- Homes with copper, brick, or warm wood exteriors
- Covered outdoor areas that call for old-world character
Not ideal for
- Modern minimalist facades that want a sleek, low-profile look
- Very small porches where a 22.5-inch lantern would feel oversized
- Spaces where you want bright task lighting rather than a warm accent
How bright is it?
Uses two 15W candelabra-base bulbs (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; two 15W-equivalent LEDs give roughly 1,600 lumens total, enough to light a doorway or porch area. It is an accent and entry light, not a floodlight.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb suits the aged copper finish and gives a soft, welcoming glow. The clear glass shows the bulb shape, so decorative candelabra or filament bulbs look best.
Sizing and fit
Measures 10.5 in wide x 12.75 in deep x 22.5 in tall and weighs 9.3 lbs. The 12.75-inch depth means it projects noticeably from the wall, so leave clearance on narrow walkways. Mounts in the up position. Best on walls at least 6 ft wide with 8 ft or higher ceilings.
