Description
A hand-riveted outdoor lantern in industrial bronze with clear glass, sized for front porches, entryways, and garage exteriors.
The Rue De Royal captures the historic romance of gas lighting without a propane feed. Fully electric and thoughtfully designed, it blends old-world charm with modern convenience. A hand-riveted metal frame enhances its authentic character, while the industrial bronze finish adds rich antique depth. Metal finishes will naturally mature and patina over time, creating a living finish that grows more beautiful with age.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted beside a door for welcoming illumination
- Garage exteriors and side doors where a traditional lantern silhouette suits the architecture
- Covered patios and exterior spaces that call for timeless elegance
- Homes with French country, traditional, or historic architectural styles
Not ideal for
- Interior rooms - this is an outdoor lantern designed for exterior installation
- Spaces where you want a bright, broad wash of light - four candelabra bulbs provide focused, lantern-style illumination
- Modern minimalist exteriors that call for sleek, unadorned fixtures
How bright is it?
Four 15W candelabra-base bulbs (not included) provide layered illumination for an entryway or porch. Brightness in lumens depends on the bulbs you choose - four 15W-equivalent LEDs typically produce around 600-800 lumens total, enough to light a doorway and immediate surroundings.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, welcoming exterior, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs; for a crisper, more modern look, try 4000K. The clear glass shades let each bulb's character show through.
