Description
A 4-light outdoor wall lantern for front porches and patios, finished in aged copper with clear glass.
The Rue De Royal captures the historic romance of gas lighting without a propane feed - fully electric and built for modern convenience. A hand-riveted copper-steel frame gives it authentic old-world character, while the aged copper finish evokes the warmth of a French countryside estate. The clear glass shade lets the candelabra bulbs shine unobstructed, and the metal finish will naturally mature and patina over time, creating a living finish that grows more beautiful with age.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted beside the door as a welcoming accent
- Patios and covered outdoor living areas with a French countryside or estate aesthetic
- Garage exteriors and side doors that need warm, traditional illumination
- Homes with traditional, transitional, or European-inspired exteriors
Not ideal for
- Interior rooms - this lantern is designed for exterior installation
- Spaces where you want a bright, wide flood of light - the clear glass and candelabra bulbs give a focused, decorative glow
- Buyers who want a uniform, unchanging finish - the metal is designed to patina over time
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 15W candelabra-base bulbs, this lantern provides a warm, decorative accent glow - ideal for entryway and porch lighting rather than broad area illumination.
