Description
A hand-riveted aged copper outdoor lantern that brings gaslight-era charm to modern porches and entryways.
The Rue De Royal lantern captures the historic romance of gas lighting without a propane feed. Fully electric and thoughtfully designed, it blends antique charm with modern convenience and energy-efficient performance. The aged copper finish and clear glass panels evoke the warmth of a French countryside estate.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches where a warm, welcoming glow is needed
- Patios and garages that call for timeless, antique-inspired style
- Exterior spaces with a French country or traditional aesthetic
- Homeowners who want the look of gas lighting with electric convenience
Not ideal for
- Modern minimalist exteriors where an aged, patinaed finish would clash
- Low-clearance areas where the 22.75-inch height might crowd the space
- Spaces requiring a sealed, maintenance-free finish - the copper will naturally patina over time
How bright is it?
Uses one 100W medium-base bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb chosen; with a standard 100W equivalent LED, expect roughly 1600 lumens - bright enough for a porch or entryway.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb installed. Clear glass panels maximize illumination and let the bulb's color temperature show through. Pair with a warm white bulb for a classic, inviting exterior.
