Description
An 8-inch outdoor hanging lantern with a tapered Western bronze frame and clear seedy glass panels, made for covered patios, porches, and entryways.
The Ravenel brings the refined look of an indoor lantern outside. Its gently tapered steel frame in Western bronze is paired with clear seedy glass that diffuses the glow and stands up to the elements. Hang one over a porch step or line several along a covered walkway for a warm, welcoming entry.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches - hang one or two for ambient light
- Front entryways and porticos where a single lantern makes a first impression
- Covered walkways and breezeways with 9 ft or higher ceilings
- Traditional, transitional, and farmhouse exteriors with bronze or wood tones
- Pairing with vintage-style Edison bulbs for extra warmth
Not ideal for
- Exposed locations with no overhead cover - rated for damp locations only
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 8 in chain drop
- Spaces that need a single bright source - one 150W bulb is accent-level light
How bright is it?
One 150W medium-base bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose - a 150W-equivalent LED gives roughly 2,000 lumens, enough for task light over a porch or entry, not as a primary area light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulb. For a warm, inviting glow choose 2700K-3000K; the seedy glass softens the light and adds gentle sparkle. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
8 in L x 8 in W x 20 in H, with an 8 in chain, 12 ft cord, and a 5 in W x 0.75 in L canopy. Works well over standard porch steps and in covered areas with 8-9 ft ceilings. Item weight 8.14 lbs.
