Description
A traditional 4-light outdoor hanging lantern in earth black with clear glass, made for porches, entryways, and patios.
The Quentin hanging lantern carries a classic tapered frame finished in earth black, a deep low-sheen tone that holds up against exterior walls. Clear glass panels let the bulbs show through for a warm welcome at the door. It is part of the full Quentin outdoor collection, so you can match it with wall lanterns and post lantern heads around the property.
Best for
- Covered front porches and entryways, hung above the door or along the walk
- Covered patios and pergolas where a hanging lantern anchors the seating area
- Matching with other Quentin outdoor lanterns for a cohesive exterior
- Traditional and transitional home exteriors in black, white, or brick
Not ideal for
- Uncovered spots fully exposed to direct rain and weather
- Low porch ceilings under 8 ft if you extend the full 8 in chain and 12 ft cord
- Large facades that need a bigger statement lantern - this is a 10 in wide hanging piece
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 15W candelabra-base bulbs, expect warm accent light - enough to light a doorway or porch seating area, not a whole yard.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the lantern ships without bulbs. Clear glass keeps the light crisp and unobstructed, so warm-white bulbs give a classic, welcoming porch glow.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No. It takes four 15W candelabra-base bulbs, sold separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimming depends on the bulbs and dimmer you install; the lantern itself does not include a dimmer. Use dimmable candelabra bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? This is an outdoor hanging lantern built for exterior use; it is best in covered exterior areas.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified by the manufacturer in the supplied data.
How does earth black compare to matte black? Earth black is a slightly warmer, softer black with a low-sheen finish that suits traditional and transitional exteriors.
