Description
A 15-inch flush mount ceiling light in matte black with an opal etched ribbed glass shade and three interchangeable knob options, made for bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms.
Oberman blends updated traditional design with a clever detail: The fixture ships with three interchangeable knobs - matte black, brushed nickel, and brushed gold - so you can match your existing hardware or change the look later without swapping the light. The opal etched ribbed glass shade gives a soft, ambient glow that flatters almost any room.
Best for
- Bedrooms and hallways where soft, even ambient light is the goal
- Living rooms and dining rooms with updated traditional or transitional decor
- Entryways and foyers with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Anyone who wants to coordinate with existing cabinet or door hardware using the included knob options
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large open rooms where a single 15-inch flush mount will not cover the square footage
- Rooms where you want a bold statement piece; the matte black and opal glass read understated
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With three 8W medium-base bulbs, expect moderate ambient light - enough for a bedroom, hallway, or small living room, with the opal glass softening the output into an even glow.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. Warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs will keep the room cozy and complement the matte black finish; cooler bulbs will make the opal glass read brighter and more neutral. Dimming is not listed in the source specs - verify bulb and switch compatibility before assuming it.
Sizing and fit
15 in L x 15 in W x 5.5 in H with a 6.00 in W x 6.00 in L canopy. The 5.5-inch height keeps it close to the ceiling, so it works in rooms with 8 ft ceilings and in hallways where headroom matters. At 15 inches across, it suits bedrooms, hallways, and small-to-medium living rooms.
