Description
A 2-light pendant with a matte black metal shade and brushed nickel hardware, made for foyers, kitchens, hallways, and home offices that want a low-profile industrial look.
Nira takes a traditional silhouette and sharpens it with industrial details. The matte black metal shade contrasts against brushed nickel hardware for a clean two-tone design that reads modern without feeling cold. Its compact, low-profile shape makes it a natural fit for smaller rooms and transitional spaces where a large chandelier would overwhelm.
Best for
- Foyers and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, as a compact statement piece
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars where a low-profile pendant fits the sightline
- Hallways and stairwells that need a focused pool of light
- Home offices and dens with industrial or transitional styling
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Large dining rooms where a wider, multi-light fixture is needed
- Rooms that need bright, even ambient light - the metal shade directs light downward
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With two 100W medium-base bulbs, expect a focused, downward pool of light - good for accenting a foyer or island, not a substitute for a room's primary ambient light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. Warm white bulbs (2700-3000K) soften the industrial look and flatter wood and brass tones. Cooler bulbs (4000K+) emphasize the brushed nickel and matte black contrast. Bulbs are not included.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 13 in L x 13 in W x 11 in H, with an 8 ft cord and a 6 in square canopy. The 13 in width suits foyers, hallways, and islands where a compact footprint is preferred. Hang the bottom of the pendant 30-36 in above an island countertop or 7 ft above the floor in a foyer.
