Quoizel Nielson 29in 4-Light Vanity Light | Transitional Brushed Nickel and Opal Etched Glass | Bathroom Vanity | Model NIE8629BN

A 4-light brushed nickel vanity light with opal etched glass shades, sized for a double vanity in a transitional or modern bathroom.

The Nielson bath light pairs clean, uncluttered lines with soft opal etched glass, so the glow stays even and glare-free across the mirror. The brushed nickel finish has a subtle satin sheen that reads warm against wood cabinetry and cool against gray tile. Mount the shades facing up for a softer wash of light or down for more direct task lighting over the sink.

Best for

• Bathrooms with a 30-36 in double vanity, mounted above the mirror
• Primary or guest baths where you want even, flattering light for grooming
• Transitional, modern, and soft-contemporary interiors
• Hallway or powder room accent lighting on a dimmer

Not ideal for

• Small single-sink vanities under 24 in wide - the 29.25 in width will overhang
• Outdoor or damp locations - this fixture carries an ETL listing for dry indoor use only
• Rooms where you want a bold statement piece - the Nielson is intentionally understated

How bright is it?

Four 100W medium-base bulbs give you up to roughly 6,400 lumens combined (about the output of four 100W incandescent bulbs). That is plenty for a primary bathroom vanity - bright enough to shave or apply makeup without shadows. Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; bulbs are not included.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulbs you install. For a bathroom vanity, 2700K-3000K warm white flatters skin tones, while 3500K-4000K gives a crisper, more clinical look. The opal etched glass diffuses the light evenly and hides the bulb, so you get a soft glow rather than hot spots. Pair with a compatible dimmer to dial brightness down for evening use.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 29.25 in wide x 7.25 in deep x 9.5 in tall, with a 6 in cord. It suits vanities roughly 30-48 in wide and standard 8-9 ft bathroom ceilings. The fixture can be mounted with the glass shades facing up or down, so you can tune the direction of light to your mirror and sink layout.
