Quoizel Nicholas 10in 1-Light Wall Sconce | Mid-Century Brushed Nickel and Opal Etched Glass | Bedroom & Hallway | 5 x 7 x 10 in | Model NL8601BN

A 1-light brushed nickel wall sconce with a tapered opal etched glass shade, made for bedrooms, hallways, and bathroom walls.

The Nicholas sconce takes its cues from mid-century modern design - a streamlined silhouette, a rectangular backplate, and a tapered square glass shade that adds sharp architectural detail. The brushed nickel finish has a soft satin sheen that blends with both warm and cool palettes. Mount it with the shade facing up for a soft ambient wash or down for more focused light beside a mirror or reading chair.

Best for

• Bedrooms, mounted on either side of the bed as a reading sconce
• Hallways and stairwells where you want even, low-glare wall light
• Bathrooms with a single vanity, flanking the mirror
• Mid-century modern, transitional, and soft-contemporary interiors

Not ideal for

• Outdoor or damp locations - this sconce carries an ETL listing for dry indoor use only
• Rooms where you need a primary light source - one 100W bulb is accent-level output
• Very small wall spaces where the 7 in projection would feel bulky

How bright is it?

One 100W medium-base bulb gives up to roughly 1,600 lumens (about the output of a single 100W incandescent bulb). That is accent-level light - ideal beside a bed or in a hallway, not as the only light in a large room. Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; bulb is not included.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulb you install. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, golden tone that flatters skin tones and warm wood or brass interiors; 3500K-4000K reads crisper and more modern. The opal etched glass diffuses the light evenly and hides the bulb. Pair with a compatible dimmer for evening use.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 5 in wide x 7 in deep x 10 in tall, with a 6 in cord. The 7 in projection means it stands out from the wall, so leave clearance beside doors or artwork. It suits standard 8-9 ft ceilings and works well in pairs flanking a bed or mirror.
