Quoizel Millhouse 18in 2-Light Outdoor Lantern | Traditional Mystic Black and Clear Seedy Glass | Front Porch & Entryway | Model MHE8409K

An 18.5-inch two-light outdoor lantern in Mystic Black with clear seedy glass, sized for front porches, entryways, and patio posts.

Millhouse keeps things simple and traditional: A clean steel frame in a rich Mystic Black finish, wrapped around clear seedy glass that softens the light into a gentle, slightly textured glow. The two-light version sits between the collection's compact and large lanterns, giving a bit more presence at a door or post. Install position is up.

Best for

• Front porches and entryways flanking a single or double door
• Porch posts and pillars where a mid-size lantern fits the scale
• Covered patios and outdoor living areas with overhead structure
• Traditional and transitional exteriors in black, white, or brick

Not ideal for

• Exposed, uncovered locations with direct rain and no overhang
• Very small porches where an 18.5 in tall lantern would overwhelm the door
• Modern or minimalist exteriors that call for a sleeker, less traditional shape

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With two 15W candelabra-base bulbs it gives a moderate, welcoming glow - good for entry lighting and ambiance, not for lighting a whole driveway or yard.

Light color and feel

Light color depends on the bulbs you choose; bulbs are not included. Warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) suit the traditional look and the seedy glass, which diffuses the light into a soft, tranquil pattern. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer used.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 8.5 in L x 8 in W x 18.5 in H, with a 6 in cord. The 8 in width suits standard single and double entry doors; the 18.5 in height works best under a porch ceiling or covered overhang with a few inches of clearance.

Frequently asked

Is the bulb included? No - Millhouse takes two 15W candelabra-base bulbs, sold separately.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulbs and wall dimmer you install; the fixture does not include a dimmer.

Can I install this outdoors? Yes - it is an outdoor lantern with an ETL listing. Mount it under a porch ceiling or overhang rather than in fully exposed, uncovered weather.

What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the product data; check with Quoizel for coverage details.

How does it compare to the other Millhouse lanterns? At 18.5 in tall with two lights, it sits between the compact 15 in single-light and the larger 19 in three-light versions - a good middle size for standard entry doors.
