Description
A 15-inch single-light outdoor lantern in Mystic Black with clear seedy glass, made for front doors, porch posts, and small entryways.
Millhouse keeps things simple and traditional: A clean steel frame in a rich Mystic Black finish, wrapped around clear seedy glass that softens the light into a gentle, slightly textured glow. At 15 inches tall it is the compact member of the collection, sized for tighter entries and post mounts. Install position is up.
Best for
- Single front doors and small entryways where a large lantern would overwhelm
- Porch posts and pillars, often paired on either side of a door
- Covered patios and outdoor living areas with overhead structure
- Traditional and transitional exteriors in black, white, or brick
Not ideal for
- Exposed, uncovered locations with direct rain and no overhang
- Large facades or wide double doors that need a bigger, taller lantern
- Modern or minimalist exteriors that call for a sleeker, less traditional shape
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one 100W medium-base bulb it gives a solid, welcoming pool of light at a door or post - good for entry lighting and ambiance, not for lighting a whole yard.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose; the bulb is not included. A warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) suits the traditional look and the seedy glass, which diffuses the light into a soft, tranquil pattern. Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer used.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7.5 in L x 7 in W x 15 in H, with a 6 in cord. The 7 in width and 15 in height suit standard single doors and porch posts; leave a few inches of clearance under a porch ceiling or overhang.
