Description
A larger traditional outdoor wall lantern for front porches and entryways, finished in Mystic Black steel with clear seedy glass.
Millhouse pairs simple, traditional detailing with a rich Mystic Black finish and clear seedy glass that diffuses light into a soft, tranquil glow. At 27.25 inches tall, this four-light version is sized for grander entries and taller doorways where a smaller lantern would look undersized.
Best for
- Tall front doors and grand entryways that need a substantial lantern
- Porches and porticos where a 27-inch fixture balances the architecture
- Pairing two on either side of a double front door
- Traditional, colonial, and farmhouse exteriors
Not ideal for
- Compact porches or narrow sidelight areas where a 27-inch lantern would crowd the door
- Anyone wanting a bright flood of light - this is an accent lantern, not a security floodlight
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 15W candelabra bulbs it gives a soft, layered glow suited to accent and entry lighting rather than lighting a whole driveway.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The clear seedy glass diffuses the light gently, so a warm-white bulb gives a traditional, welcoming feel while a cooler bulb reads crisper and more modern.
Sizing and fit
Measures 12 in wide, 12.75 in deep, and 27.25 in tall, with a 6 in cord. The 27.25-inch height suits tall single and double front doors; check clearance above any railing or step before mounting.
