Description
A 44-inch six-light island chandelier in brushed nickel with clear swirl glass shades, sized for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
McKinney pairs traditional styling with clean lines, so it reads classic without feeling heavy. The brushed nickel steel frame holds six clear swirl glass shades, each with a twisted texture that catches and scatters light across the room. It is a linear fixture designed to hang over a long surface rather than a round table.
Best for
- Kitchen islands roughly 6 to 8 ft long, hung as the main light over the counter
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table 6 ft or longer
- Open-concept kitchens where a linear fixture defines the cooking zone
- Traditional and transitional interiors with nickel or chrome hardware
Not ideal for
- Small breakfast nooks or round tables - the 44-inch span needs a long surface beneath it
- Rooms where you want a single bright downlight - this spreads light across six shades rather than focusing it
- Very low ceilings, since the fixture hangs 12 in tall plus chain and canopy
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With six 15W candelabra bulbs, expect a moderate ambient glow rather than a single intense beam - best as the main light over an island or table, supplemented by task lighting if you cook under it.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture ships without bulbs. Warm white bulbs in the 2700K-3000K range suit the traditional look and flatter wood and nickel finishes. Dimmability depends on your bulbs and wall dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall 44 in wide x 26.25 in deep x 12 in high, with a 5 in x 5 in canopy and 8 ft cord. The 44-inch width suits islands and tables in the 6-8 ft range. Allow roughly 30-36 in of clearance between the bottom of the fixture and your countertop.
