Description
A weather-resistant 3-light outdoor hanging lantern for front porches, entryways, and covered patios.
The Marblehead lantern brings a stately, masculine presence to the Coastal Armour Collection. Arched metal framing gives the clear seedy glass a window-like look, so the light reads as warm and welcoming rather than harsh. The Palladian Bronze finish is a deep, rich bronze that pairs naturally with brick, stone, and wood exteriors.
Best for
- Front porches and entryways where a hanging lantern sets the welcome tone
- Covered patios and outdoor living areas with overhead mounting points
- Coastal and traditional homes that want a substantial, architectural silhouette
- Exteriors that need a fixture rated for wet or damp exposure
Not ideal for
- Low-clearance areas - the fixture is 18 in tall plus an 8 in chain and 12 ft cord
- Interiors - this is an outdoor-rated lantern built for exterior use
How bright is it?
Three 15W candelabra bulbs (not included) give this lantern a warm, layered glow. Exact lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but three candelabra lamps read as accent and welcome lighting rather than a primary area light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. Clear seedy glass diffuses the light slightly while keeping the filament visible, which suits warm-white bulbs for a classic, golden porch glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 11 in L x 11 in W x 18 in H, with an 8 in chain, a 5 in W x 1 in L canopy, and a 12 ft cord. The 18 in body plus chain means it needs a porch or patio with generous overhead clearance.
