Description
A 13-inch flush mount ceiling light for bedrooms, hallways, and closets, finished in earth black with a clear glass caged shade.
The Ludlow flush mount sits close to the ceiling, making it a smart pick for rooms where a hanging fixture would feel crowded. Three candelabra bulbs sit inside a clear glass shade wrapped in an open steel cage, so light spreads outward and down without a heavy diffuser. The earth black finish is a soft matte near-black that suits industrial and modern farmhouse rooms.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Hallways, landings, and stairwells that need even overhead light
- Closets, laundry rooms, and utility spaces
- Industrial, loft, and modern farmhouse interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large open rooms where you need a high-output primary light - three 15W candelabra bulbs give a moderate glow
- Anyone wanting a fully diffused, glare-free look - the clear glass leaves bulbs visible
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It takes three candelabra-base bulbs up to 15W each. With standard 15W bulbs you get a soft, moderate light suited to a hallway or small bedroom rather than a large living space. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because bulbs are not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature comes from your bulbs. A 2700K-3000K warm white set gives a cozy, golden tone for bedrooms and hallways; a 4000K set reads crisper for utility spaces. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer you pair with it.
Sizing and fit
At 13.25 in wide x 13.25 in deep x 5.25 in high, this flush mount hugs the ceiling and works well in rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings. The 12 in square canopy covers a standard ceiling box. It is a good fit for rooms roughly 10x10 ft to 12x12 ft.
