Description
A compact 5-inch mini pendant for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and dining nooks, finished in earth black with a clear glass caged shade.
The Ludlow mini pendant brings industrial character without bulk. A simple steel silhouette wraps a clear glass shade in an open cage, so the bulb stays visible and light projects freely in every direction. The earth black finish is a soft, matte near-black that reads modern against white cabinets and warm against wood tones.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in pairs or threes over a counter
- Dining nooks and small eat-in kitchens where a full chandelier would overwhelm the table
- Entryways and stairwells that need a single focused accent light
- Industrial, modern farmhouse, and loft-style interiors
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you need a primary light source - at 100W max this is an accent pendant, not a room-filling light
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you plan to hang it on a long drop
- Spaces that need a shaded, glare-free downlight - the clear glass shade leaves the bulb exposed
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you install. This fixture accepts one medium-base bulb up to 100W, which is roughly 1,600 lumens with a standard incandescent - enough to light a countertop task area or a small table. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because the bulb is not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb choice, not the fixture. Pair it with a 2700K-3000K warm white bulb for a soft, golden glow that flatters wood and brass, or a 4000K bulb for a crisper task light over a prep counter. Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer you use.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 5 in wide x 5 in deep x 10 in high, with a 5 in square canopy and 8 ft of cord. That cord length gives you plenty of adjustment for 9-10 ft ceilings; trim it for lower ceilings. One pendant suits a small island or a single accent spot - use two or three in a row for a full island.
