Description
A 36-inch linear island chandelier with six opal etched glass shades on a matte black steel frame, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Kimora pairs a clean matte black frame with cylindrical opal etched glass shades for a crisp, contrasting look that suits modern and contemporary interiors. Part of the Platinum by Quoizel collection, it spreads light evenly along a counter or table instead of pooling it in one spot.
Best for
- Kitchen islands roughly 6-8 ft long, hung as the main light over the counter
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table 5-6 ft long
- Open-plan kitchens and bars where a linear silhouette reads cleaner than a round chandelier
- Modern and contemporary interiors with black hardware or dark cabinetry
Not ideal for
- Small breakfast nooks or narrow galley kitchens - the 36-inch span needs room to breathe
- Rooms where you want a single bright downlight; this is a multi-shade ambient piece
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you plan to hang it low over a table
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With six 40W G9 bulbs it delivers generous ambient light for a kitchen island or dining table - bright enough to anchor the room, though you may still want task lighting for close work.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the G9 bulbs you choose; the opal etched glass softens and diffuses the output into an even, glare-free glow. Pair with warm white bulbs for a relaxed dining feel or cooler bulbs for a crisper kitchen look.
Sizing and fit
