Description
A traditional outdoor post lantern for walkways and driveways, finished in western bronze with clear seedy glass.
The Jaxon collection pairs a storybook silhouette with a rich western bronze finish and clear seedy glass that softens and textures the light. Interchangeable candle sets in western bronze and gold are included, so you can shift the look to suit your exterior. As a post light it anchors the path rather than the wall.
Best for
- Walkways and driveway edges where a post light marks the path
- Garden and yard perimeters that need a classic lantern silhouette
- Traditional and transitional homes in western bronze and warm wood tones
- Paired posts flanking a front gate or long entry path
Not ideal for
- Wall mounting - this is a post lantern and needs a compatible post, sold separately
- Modern minimalist exteriors that call for a clean, unadorned shape
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 15W candelabra-base bulbs, expect a warm accent glow that marks a path - not a floodlight for a whole driveway.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the clear seedy glass diffuses the light and adds texture rather than a sharp beam. Candelabra-base bulbs are widely available in warm white for a traditional exterior look.
Sizing and fit
Overall 10.75 in wide x 10.75 in deep x 19.5 in high, with a 6 in cord. At 9.39 lbs it is manageable for a two-person install. Plan the post height so the lantern sits at a comfortable eye level along the path.
