Description
A traditional outdoor wall lantern for porches and entryways, finished in western bronze with clear seedy glass.
The Jaxon collection pairs a storybook silhouette with a rich western bronze finish and clear seedy glass that softens and textures the light. Interchangeable candle sets in western bronze and gold are included, so you can shift the look to suit your exterior. It is built for the front of the house, where a warm welcome matters.
Best for
- Front porches and entryways flanking a door, mounted in pairs for symmetry
- Garage exteriors and walkway walls that need a classic lantern silhouette
- Traditional and transitional homes in western bronze and warm wood tones
- Covered patios where a smaller two-light lantern suits the scale
Not ideal for
- Very wide facades - at 8.25 in wide this is a compact lantern, so larger walls may want the bigger Jaxon sizes
- Modern minimalist exteriors that call for a clean, unadorned shape
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With two 15W candelabra-base bulbs, expect accent-level light - enough to mark a doorway and cast a warm glow, not to flood a driveway.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the clear seedy glass diffuses the light and adds texture rather than a sharp beam. Candelabra-base bulbs are widely available in warm white for a traditional exterior look.
Sizing and fit
Overall 8.25 in wide x 9.75 in deep x 14.5 in high, with a 6.75 in W x 4.75 in L canopy and a 6 in cord. At 6.64 lbs it is easy to handle on a ladder. Mounts in the down position, so plan for a wall location with clearance below.
