Description
An 11.5-inch outdoor lantern in imperial bronze with translucent linen glass, made for Arts and Crafts homes and contemporary exteriors that need a warm, glare-free welcome light.
Hillcrest pairs an imperial bronze steel frame with translucent linen glass that softens the light and reduces glare and hot spots. The design suits classic Arts and Crafts style homes but reads just as well on contemporary and modern exteriors. It is a compact, two-light lantern for entries and porches.
Best for
- Front entries and doorways on Arts and Crafts and traditional homes
- Covered porches and patios
- Contemporary and modern exteriors that need a warm, low-glare light
- Garage entries and side doors where a compact lantern fits
Not ideal for
- Large facades that need a wide, high-output fixture - this is 11.5 in wide
- Spaces where you want clear, sparkling glass; the linen glass is translucent and diffusing
- Interiors where an imperial bronze frame would feel too traditional
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With two 60W medium base bulbs it provides a warm, even welcome light for an entry or porch.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture ships without bulbs. The translucent linen glass softens the output and reduces glare, so the light reads warm and even rather than sharp. Use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer if you want to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 11.5 in L x 11.5 in W x 7 in H with a 6 in cord. It suits single-door entries, porches, and side doors where a compact, wide lantern is the right scale.
