Description
A 15-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with a distressed grey wood frame and metal mesh shade, sized for foyers, hallways, and living rooms that need a modern farmhouse focal point.
Hallie pairs a slightly distressed grey wood finish with a metal mesh shade for a global, artisanal look that reads modern farmhouse without feeling rustic. The open mesh lets the candelabra bulbs show through, so the fixture feels airy even in a low-ceilinged entry. It is part of a collection that also includes a matching pendant.
Best for
- Foyers and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, where a flush profile keeps sightlines open
- Hallways and corridors that need even overhead light without a hanging fixture
- Living rooms and home offices with modern farmhouse or global-inspired decor
- Bedrooms with standard ceilings where a pendant would hang too low
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you want a single bright light source; this is an accent fixture, not a primary room light
- Spaces with very low ceilings under 7.5 ft, where the 13.25 in height may feel tight
How bright is it?
Uses two 60W candelabra bulbs (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with standard 60W-equivalent LEDs expect roughly 800-1600 lumens total - enough for ambient light in a foyer or hallway, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. With warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) the metal mesh casts soft, patterned shadows that flatter wood tones and grey finishes. Dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
15.25 in L x 15.25 in W x 13.25 in H. The 4.75 in canopy fits standard junction boxes. Best in rooms 8 ft x 10 ft and larger with ceilings at least 8 ft high.
