Description
A 21-inch four-light semi-flush mount ceiling light for bedrooms, hallways, and foyers, finished in palladian bronze with a white etched glass shade.
The Griffin semi-flush mount pairs a warm palladian bronze finish with softly curved steel arms for an understated soft-modern look. The white etched glass shade is painted white inside to diffuse light evenly, filling the room with a smooth glow rather than harsh glare. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works in rooms where a hanging pendant would feel too low.
Best for
- Bedrooms 12x12 ft and larger, mounted as the primary ceiling light
- Hallways and foyers where a pendant would hang too low
- Living rooms and dens with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Kitchens used as general ambient light over a breakfast nook
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you want a strong downlight over a task surface
- Very small powder rooms - at 21 in wide this is a substantial ceiling piece
How bright is it?
Four 100W medium-base bulbs give this fixture plenty of output for a primary room light - roughly comparable to a bright multi-bulb ceiling fixture. Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture itself is rated for 100W per socket.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. The white etched glass diffuses evenly and softens glare, so warm-white bulbs (2700-3000K) read especially cozy against the palladian bronze finish. Dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
21 in wide x 21 in deep x 14 in high with a 5.75 in canopy and 6 in cord. The semi-flush profile sits close to the ceiling, making it a good fit for standard 8-9 ft ceilings where a hanging chandelier would feel cramped.
