Description
A 39-inch linear island chandelier with six lights for kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in mottled silver with clear textured glass.
The Fortress island chandelier brings a bold, architectural focal point above kitchen islands and dining tables. Panels of clear textured glass and a clean mottled silver steel frame create a transitional look that suits industrial and modern interiors. Six candelabra-base sockets let you tailor the brightness and warmth to your space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6 ft or longer that need a linear statement light
- Dining rooms with rectangular tables 6-8 seats
- Open-concept living and kitchen areas
- Transitional, industrial, and modern interiors
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens or dining nooks under 8 ft wide - the fixture is 39 in long
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 4 ft chain drop
- Spaces that need a very bright primary light - the six 15W candelabra bulbs provide accent and ambient light, not task lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. Brightness depends on the six candelabra-base bulbs you install. With 15W bulbs, expect a warm, moderate light suitable for dining and kitchen island accent, not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The clear textured glass shade diffuses light softly and works well with warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs for a cozy dining feel. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
