Description
A 16-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with clear textured glass panels and an earth black steel frame, sized for hallways, entryways, and bedrooms.
The Fortress collection pairs clean lines with panels of clear textured glass, giving this semi-flush mount a bold, architectural look that still feels timeless. The earth black finish over steel reads modern-industrial without being cold, and the textured glass softens the light as it spreads across the room. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works well in spaces where a pendant would hang too low.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways where a low-profile ceiling light is needed
- Bedrooms and living rooms as a warm ambient ceiling light
- Kitchens with standard-height ceilings
- Transitional, industrial, and modern interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you want a very bright, single-source light - this is an ambient fixture, not a task light
- Very low ceilings where even a semi-flush mount would feel crowded
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you install. This fixture takes three medium-base bulbs up to 100W each, so with standard bulbs it can deliver strong ambient light for a hallway or bedroom. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because it varies with the bulbs chosen.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you use. With warm white bulbs (around 2700K-3000K) it gives a soft, inviting glow that suits wood tones and neutral walls. The clear textured glass diffuses the light slightly while keeping some sparkle.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 16 in L x 16 in W x 12.75 in H, with a 6 in W x 6 in L canopy. At just under 13 inches tall, it fits comfortably in rooms with 8 ft or higher ceilings and works well over a hallway or entryway where a full pendant would hang too low.
