Description
A 50-inch linear island chandelier with six lights and white-lined metal shades, finished in matte black for modern kitchens and dining rooms.
Foreland brings a clean, architectural look to the room. The matte black steel frame supports six metal shades, each painted white on the inside to push light downward in a smooth, even wash instead of a harsh glare. It is a linear design made for long surfaces, so it reads as one deliberate piece rather than a row of separate lights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands roughly 6 to 8 ft long, hung as the main light over the counter
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table that needs even light end to end
- Open-concept kitchens where a single statement piece should tie the room together
- Modern, industrial, and transitional interiors with black accents
Not ideal for
- Small rooms or narrow galley kitchens - at 50 in wide this fixture needs a long surface beneath it
- Low ceilings, since the fixture itself is 9 in tall before any hanging height is added
- Anyone wanting a fully enclosed or flush-to-ceiling look
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With six 100W medium-base bulbs, this is a high-output fixture intended as a primary light source over a kitchen island or dining table, not as accent lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose, since this fixture uses replaceable medium-base bulbs rather than integrated LEDs. The white-painted shade interiors soften the light and reduce glare. Dimmability depends on your bulb and dimmer combination.

Overall dimensions are 50 in wide x 21 in deep x 9 in high, with a 10.5 in wide canopy and 8 ft of cord. It suits rooms with standard 8 to 10 ft ceilings and a long island or table below it.
