Description
A 4-light linear island chandelier in matte black steel with white alabaster glass shades - made for kitchen islands and long dining tables.
The Fairbanks island chandelier stretches 37 inches across, with four white alabaster glass shades framed by slender matte black steel arms. The look is transitional with a touch of luxury, and the linear shape throws even light down a long countertop or table without blocking the view across the room.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long - centers light over the work surface
- Long dining tables seating 6-8
- Transitional, modern farmhouse, and soft-contemporary interiors
- Open-concept kitchens where a linear fixture defines the space
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or uncovered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Round or square tables - the linear shape suits rectangular surfaces
- Small kitchens under 8 ft wide - the 37.25 in span needs room to breathe
How bright is it?
Takes four 100W medium-base bulbs (not included). With 100W-equivalent LEDs expect roughly 4400-6400 lumens total - plenty of light for a full kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on your bulbs. The white alabaster glass softens and diffuses light; 2700K-3000K bulbs give a warm kitchen glow. Dimmable with compatible bulbs and dimmer.
