Description
A 22.5-inch tall Arts and Crafts table lamp with a handcrafted multicolor art glass shade and a bronze patina resin base, made for bedrooms, living rooms, and studies.
The Chastain pays homage to the enduring Arts and Crafts style, typified by straight lines forming squares and rectangles. The handcrafted shade honors the tradition of quality and attention to detail, and the coordinating base has an authentic bronze patina that reads warm and aged rather than shiny. It is a natural fit for Craftsman, mission, and traditional interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, as a bedside lamp on a nightstand 22-28 in tall
- Living rooms and dens, on an end table beside a sofa or reading chair
- Home offices and studies with Craftsman or mission-style furniture
- Console tables in entryways and hallways
Not ideal for
- Desks or task lighting - the art glass shade is decorative and diffuses light rather than focusing it
- Very small side tables under 14 in wide - the 15.5 in shade overhangs the base
- Modern minimalist rooms where a patterned shade would feel busy
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The lamp uses two 60W medium-base bulbs, which together give a warm, ambient glow suited to accent and mood lighting rather than a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. With warm white bulbs the multicolor art glass casts a soft, golden, stained-glass glow that flatters wood furniture and traditional interiors.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 15.5 in L x 15.5 in W x 22.5 in H, with an 8 ft cord. At 22.5 in tall, it suits standard nightstands and end tables.
