Quoizel Catalina Island 42in 6-Light Linear Chandelier | Industrial Matte Black and Brushed Nickel | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model CTA642MBK

A 42-inch linear chandelier for kitchen islands and dining tables, finished in matte black with brushed nickel accents.

The Catalina Island chandelier takes its cue from retro industrial design - a long, open steel frame that lets six exposed bulbs light the room in every direction. Matte black is warmed by brushed nickel detailing at the sockets, giving it a look that reads modern without feeling cold. Because the bulbs are exposed, it throws light up, down, and sideways, which is exactly what you want over a long surface.

Best for

• Kitchen islands roughly 6-8 ft long, hung as the main light over the counter
• Dining rooms with a rectangular table that needs even, all-around light
• Industrial, modern farmhouse, and loft-style interiors
• Open-plan kitchens where a linear shape follows the room's lines

Not ideal for

• Low ceilings - the 16.5-inch body plus chain needs headroom over a table or island
• Small rooms or narrow breakfast nooks where a 42-inch span would overwhelm the space
• Anyone wanting a shaded, glare-free look - the bulbs are fully exposed

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. It holds six candelabra-base bulbs up to 60W each, so with 60W-equivalent LEDs you get roughly the output of a bright multi-bulb fixture - plenty for a kitchen island or dining table. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because bulbs are not included.

Light color and feel

Color temperature comes from your bulbs, not the fixture. Warm 2700K-3000K bulbs suit dining rooms and evening meals; 3000K-3500K keeps a kitchen feeling crisp and task-friendly. With a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer, you can take it from bright task light down to a soft dinner glow.

Sizing and fit

Measures 42 in W x 12.25 in D x 16.5 in H and weighs 11.7 lbs. The 42-inch width suits islands and tables in the 6-8 ft range. It hangs from a 4-inch chain with an 8 ft cord and a 9 in W x 4.5 in L canopy; over a table, aim for about 30-36 inches from the tabletop to the bottom of the fixture.
