Quoizel Cassidy 43in 5-Light Island Chandelier | Transitional Matte Black and White Swirl Glass | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model CAS543MBK

A 43-inch linear island chandelier with five white swirl glass shades, finished in matte black steel - made for kitchen islands and dining rooms that need even, dramatic light.

The Cassidy collection pairs a sleek matte black frame with white swirl glass, a combination that reads transitional rather than trendy. The swirl pattern softens the light and gives each shade a handcrafted look, while the long linear silhouette spreads illumination across a countertop or table instead of pooling it in one spot.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung as the primary light over the counter
• Dining rooms with a rectangular table 60-72 in wide
• Open-concept kitchens where a linear shape follows the room's lines
• Transitional and modern-farmhouse interiors with black hardware or dark cabinetry

Not ideal for

• Small breakfast nooks or powder rooms - at 43 in wide this fixture needs a long surface beneath it
• Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you plan to hang it low over a table
• Anyone wanting a single tight focal point - this is a wide, spread-out design

How bright is it?

Five 100W medium-base bulbs give this chandelier plenty of output for a primary kitchen or dining light. Exact lumens depend on the bulbs you choose; with standard 100W-equivalent LEDs expect roughly 8,000-8,500 lumens total - bright enough to light a full island workspace, not just accent it.

Light color and feel

Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. The white swirl glass diffuses light softly and hides the bulb itself, so 2700K-3000K warm white bulbs will feel cozy over a dining table while 3000K-3500K keeps a kitchen crisp. The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 43 in wide x 13.5 in deep x 9.25 in high, with an 18 in x 4.5 in canopy and 8 ft of cord. Over an island, leave roughly 30-36 in between the bottom of the fixture and the countertop; over a dining table, 30-34 in above the table surface is typical. The 43 in width suits islands and tables in the 5-8 ft range.
