Description
An 8-inch mini pendant with a clear swirl glass shade, matte black steel body, and aged brass accents - built for kitchen islands, bars, and breakfast nooks.
The Carly collection mixes a sculptural matte black frame with aged brass detailing and clear swirl glass, giving this mini pendant an industrial edge with a bit of polish. The swirl texture in the glass catches light and adds visual interest without blocking the bulb. Hang one alone over a sink or cluster two or three over an island.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas, hung in pairs or threes for even task light
- Home bars and butler's pantries where a single accent pendant works
- Breakfast nooks with a small round or square table
- Industrial, modern-farmhouse, and transitional interiors with black or brass hardware
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing a primary light - at 8 in wide this is an accent or task pendant
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry, indoor locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you want a long drop
How bright is it?
One 100W medium-base bulb gives this pendant real task-light punch for its size. Exact lumens depend on the bulb; with a 100W-equivalent LED expect roughly 1,600 lumens - bright enough to light a prep area or a small table, not a whole room on its own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb. The clear swirl glass lets the bulb show through, so a vintage-style filament bulb at 2700K-3000K suits the industrial look. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 in wide x 8 in deep x 13.25 in high, with a 5 in x 5 in canopy and 8 ft of cord. Over a countertop, leave about 30-36 in between the bottom of the shade and the surface. The compact 8 in width makes it easy to line up two or three along an island.
