Description
A compact 8-inch mini pendant in matte black with an opal etched ribbed glass drum shade, sized for kitchen islands, bars, and dining nooks.
The Callahan pairs a streamlined steel frame with a softly pleated opal glass drum that diffuses light into a warm, even glow. The matte black finish keeps the look crisp and modern, an easy match for industrial, contemporary, and transitional kitchens. Hang one as a solo accent or cluster two or three for a layered look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas where a single 8-inch pendant anchors the prep zone
- Dining nooks and breakfast bars that need focused light without a large fixture
- Grouping two or three over a longer island or bar for a coordinated row
- Bedrooms and reading corners used as a soft ambient accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you need a single fixture to light the whole space; this is an accent pendant, not a primary light source
- Very tall ceilings if you need a long drop - the cord is 8 ft, so plan the hanging height accordingly
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a 100W-equivalent medium-base LED you get strong task light for an island; with a lower-wattage bulb it becomes a softer accent. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because the bulb is not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb, not the fixture. The opal etched ribbed glass softens and diffuses the light, reducing glare and casting a warm, even glow - ideal for kitchens and dining areas where you want comfortable, flattering light.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 in L x 8 in W x 12.5 in H with a 5 in W x 5 in L canopy and an 8 ft cord. The compact 8-inch width suits islands 4-6 ft long when hung singly, or longer islands when grouped. Adjust the cord to set the shade roughly 30-36 inches above a countertop.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No - it is rated for dry locations only, so keep it indoors in dry rooms.
What's the warranty? Warranty details are not specified by the manufacturer in the source data.
Can I shorten the cord? Yes - the 8 ft cord can be trimmed during installation to set your desired hanging height.
