Description
A farmhouse island chandelier for kitchen islands and dining rooms that want rustic character with an open, airy frame.
The Brockton island chandelier uses a thin grey ash steel body with seeded glass shades and Edison-style interior bulbs. Six shades suspend from a circular canopy, casting an abundant glow even in large spaces. It is also rated for outdoor use, so it can bring the same look to a covered patio.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars
- Dining rooms and open-concept living spaces
- Farmhouse, rustic, and modern-country interiors
- Covered outdoor spaces - rated for outdoor use
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings where a 42 in wide fixture plus cord would hang too low
- Small rooms where a 42 in chandelier would overwhelm the space
- Spaces needing a fully enclosed shade to hide the bulbs
How bright is it?
Uses five 100W medium-base bulbs (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with Edison-style bulbs it provides soft ambient light rather than task-level brightness.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs installed. Warm white (2700K-3000K) Edison-style bulbs suit the rustic finish; the seeded glass shades diffuse the light slightly. Dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch.
