Description
A sculptural 5-light pendant with sweeping old black bands and opal etched glass shades, sized for dining rooms and entryways.
The Blacksmith pendant fuses strength and artistry into a single striking form. Sweeping steel bands in an old black finish twist into a sculptural sphere, cradling opal etched glass shades that glow like candlelight through rain-kissed windows. The old black finish has a deep, slightly softened tone that pairs beautifully with the diffused glow of the etched glass, making it a warm and intimate centerpiece for both indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, hung over a 60-72 in table
- Two-story foyers and entryways where the open silhouette can be appreciated from below
- Covered patios and porches that need a statement centerpiece
- Living rooms with vaulted ceilings and an industrial or transitional palette
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the 29.5 in height plus chain may hang too close to head height
- Small powder rooms or tight hallways where a 26 in diameter fixture would overwhelm the space
- Uncovered outdoor locations - this fixture is designed for indoor and covered outdoor use only
How bright is it?
Five 15W candelabra bulbs provide ample ambient light for a dining room or foyer. Exact lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with standard 15W candelabra LEDs expect roughly 500-800 lumens total, enough to light a table or entryway as a focal point rather than a whole-room light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs installed. The opal etched glass diffuses the light softly, so warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs will create a gentle, even glow that flatters the old black finish. Dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
26 in L x 26 in W x 29.5 in H with a 4 in chain and 8 ft cord. The 5 in canopy fits standard junction boxes. Best in rooms with ceilings 8 ft or higher; in a dining room, hang the bottom of the fixture about 30-36 in above the table.
