Description
An 18-inch four-light semi-flush mount in matte black with mercury glass panels - a stately drum silhouette for entryways, living rooms, and bathrooms.
The Bankston takes the classic drum shape and sharpens it with clean geometric lines in matte black. Rectangular mercury glass panels catch and scatter light, giving the fixture a soft shimmer rather than a flat glow. It is a statement piece that still feels restrained.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers where a larger 18-inch drum makes an impression
- Living rooms with transitional or modern decor
- Bathrooms with 9 ft ceilings or higher
- Dining nooks and open-concept spaces that need a central light
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the 14-inch height needs clearance
- Small powder rooms where an 18-inch diameter overwhelms the space
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 60W candelabra-base bulbs, it delivers solid ambient light for a medium room - brighter than a typical accent fixture, softer than a dedicated task light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on your bulbs. The mercury glass diffuses light with a warm, slightly reflective quality, so 2700K-3000K bulbs read especially inviting. Dimmable with compatible bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
