Description
A large 4-light dome pendant in matte black with a multi-toned gold interior, sized for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Ariel pendant pairs a matte black steel exterior with a dome-shaped metal shade finished in a multi-toned gold inside. Subtle ribbing on the shade adds texture and helps scatter light warmly across the room. At 24 inches wide, it reads as a focal point rather than a background accent.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6 ft or longer, hung as the single statement piece overhead
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, centered over a 4-6 seat table
- Open-concept living areas where a large black-and-gold pendant anchors the seating zone
- Entry foyers with high ceilings that can carry a 24-inch-wide fixture
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the 12.25-inch body plus 8 ft cord needs headroom
- Small powder rooms or narrow hallways where a 24-inch dome would overwhelm the space
- Anyone wanting a bright, even task light - this is an ambient and accent fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 100W medium-base bulbs, it delivers strong ambient light for a large room - bright enough to light a dining table or island, not intended as a single source for a whole floor plan.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture ships without bulbs. The gold interior reflects a warm, golden cast, so 2700K-3000K bulbs keep the look cohesive. Dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall 24 in W x 21.5 in D x 12.25 in H with an 8 ft cord and a 5 in W x 5 in L canopy. Suits rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings; on taller ceilings, plan on additional chain or rod length. Weighs 8.58 lbs.
