Description
A 10.75-inch, 1-light mini pendant in brushed nickel with a spherical opal etched glass shade, made for kitchen islands and bar areas.
Modern and playful, the Aliyah mini pendant pairs a spherical, opal etched glass shade with sleek metallic lines. The frosted glass globe casts a soft glow, complemented by beautifully curving lines that join together at the top. It is a small fixture with a lot of personality, and it looks especially good grouped in twos or threes.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas - hang two or three in a row for even light
- Home bars and butler's pantries that need a small, decorative accent light
- Breakfast nooks and small dining tables where a full-size pendant would be too much
- Modern and transitional interiors that suit brushed nickel and frosted glass
Not ideal for
- Rooms that need a single large statement fixture - this is a mini pendant at 10.75 in wide
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you want much drop below the canopy
- Anyone wanting a metal or fabric shade - the shade here is opal etched glass
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It takes one medium-base bulb up to 100W, so a single pendant gives focused task light over a counter. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulb, not the fixture. The opal etched glass diffuses the light into a soft, even glow with no harsh hot spots, which makes it comfortable at eye level over a counter or bar.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 10.75 in L x 10.75 in W x 22 in H. It includes an 8 ft cord and a 4.75 in W x 0.75 in L canopy. The compact 10.75 in width suits standard kitchen islands; hang the bottom of the shade about 30-36 in above the countertop for comfortable task lighting.
